For those who have never been to Trader’s Joe, that HAS to change!
I have got to ask ONE thing; Why is it when someone says or hears “Trader Joe’s” there eyes light up?! There is a lot of stores, but not as many as a Walmart or Burger King…Which also makes it a MUST to stop at if your passing or if one is close by. A major plus to Trader Joe’s Products is that they are sourced from Non-GMO ingredients. Everything is fresh, clean and organized, from the fruit to their brown bags they supply at check out. Read below to find out my Favs…
What’s in my cart?
Necessities
Carrots- Not slimy, and are kept fresh
Veggies- ESP. Cucumbers
Peanut Butter- $1.99 for natural peanut butter- SOLD & it’s by far my favorite PB yet
Yogurt- Delicious, different types to choose from
Nuts- they have from salted to unsalted to raw to trail mix with/out chocolate and affordable
Think Thin- Other than 1st Phorm Protein Bars, these are the ONLY other bars i’ll throw into the mix
Frozen Sweet Potatoes Fries- put them in the air fryer- the best!
Wheat Buns- with the seeds on top; it makes a difference
Turkey Burgers- These burgers, on a wheat bun, with the side of Sweet Potatoes have became a weekly treat meal
Puffs- The chip bag shown in the back of the cart. $1.99 for lite Cheetos puffs, always thrown in the cart; one of my nieces fav!

Cranberry Juice- if your going to have cranberry juice for the iodine benefits, you need to make sure you get the right kind. Trader Joe’s supplies the proper kind and at an affordable price; notice PURE not Concentrated
Japanese Sweet Potatoes- These are so hard to find… Shop Rite carries them, but I haven’t seen them in a long time. Wegmans does carry them based on location, so again, hard to find. Trader Joe’s always has them but sometimes way too tiny. This picture is to show how tiny they can be but also to show you that they are DIFFERENT from a sweet potato/yam (different color on the outside & inside)

Typically a slice of cheese has 8 grams of fat per cheese, so I’ll only eat 1/2 a slice, for Trader Joe’s Lite cheese I get to eat one entire slice, the whole slice has only 4 grams of fat.

You can’t enter a Trader Joe’s without throwing a couple bananas in the cart for 19 cents each! Plus, Potassium does a body wonders
Extras

Elote-Taste good in a beef mix Vegan Chickenless; WORST name ever. Taste like chicken noodle soup– yummy on chicken Everything Seasonings–AWESOME on avocado toast & eggs

Green Goddess Dressing– Even though the title is a dressing don’t let it fool you to thinking it can only be used on top of a salad. I use this product in replace of pesto; taste just like it. I use it on top of beef, zucchini noodles, marinara sauce, and this dressing on top. One bad thing is, it does not last very long after being opened, so don’t try to save it for those special times. Once you open, must use it.
Want Always but only get Sometimes
Cartwheel cookies
Dunkers
PB cookies
Tortilla chips
Some may wonder how Trader Joe’s can provide fresh, Non-GMO, and delicious food options while yet still making it quite affordable. Part of that reason is because about 80% of Trader Joe’s products are made from its own private label. Meaning, they are buying goods directly from the supplier cutting out that middleman who can drive up all the costs. Which may even explain why there are not so many on the block! After reading that, I’d like it to stay that way too. Each time I walk out of Trader Joe’s I am completed satisfied with my visit. Which is exactly why Trader Joe’s has become part of my weekly rituals!
PS:
Look out for their Seasonal Items! They usually keep these on the end caps of the isles closer to the registers. Pumpkin Everything is here!
