October Bucket List for Couples!
Add these 11 ideas to your bucket list for this Month! There is 4 weekends in the Month, so plan ahead as you go through and check them off your Bucket List!
1. Attend a Fall Festival
Plenty to do including food, entertainment, music, games, & other activities. Filled with fresh seasonal produce with a little balance of yummy seasonal desserts! Look out for those seasonal flavors like Pumpkin spice and Apple pies!
Which leads us to go…
2. Apple Picking
Find the best local Apple cider donuts
I’ve found them local to me! Mackey’s Orchards. They have much more than Apple cider donuts there, worth a drive out for some fresh produce, sweets, even hayride fun & more!
3. Football game
Wouldn’t be Fall without some FOOTBALL!
Get in the spirit and support your favorite professional team or attend a local HS/College game! Throw on a hoodie & be prepared for some cozy entertainment
4. Bonfire
…All Summer long, but Fall Bonfires are just an ultimate fav & cozy! Throw in s’mores while you are at it. Take this time to be mindful with your other half, enjoy them and the outdoors.
5.Pumpkin patch
Don’t just buy pumpkins at your local store but take the time to go pick some pumpkins! Super fun to do on a Fall beautiful day! Get a nice “couples” picture while your there;)
6. Complete a Corn maze
We did this last year for the first time and let me tell you—it may have become a tradition. The time this gave us to bond with our family was super fun! Cherish those times with the ones who are closest.
Who knows maybe you end up liking a challenge after all!
7. Enjoy the Hayride
Never too old to jump on a hayride! Wouldn’t be pumpkin picking without a hayride to the pumpkin patch. But this year, I’m thinking a haunted hayride could be more up my alley…
8. Carve pumpkins
I was 25 when I carved my first pumpkin. But why?!? Don’t wait to check this one off your bucket list! Get creative and have fun with this. It is messy, but it can all be cleaned up. This is one of the most festive things you can do in the month of October— so do it!
9. Roast Pumpkin Seeds
Simply goes along with carving pumpkins.
10. Go to a Haunted House
I haven’t gone to one since high school—so I’m way over due! But never too old to do something like this.
11. Couple Costumes & attend a Halloween Party
Hmmm we’re going to have to get creative now a days. Some would be easier to find and order online, others are simple and can’t make them at home with just adding in accessories. Some top ideas are:
King & Queen deck of cards
Cookies & Milk
Fred & Wilma Flintstones
Better half (avocado shirts) *this one is super simple, and I actually like it a lot! “Better” Shirt. “Half” Shirt
Sandy & Danny from grease
Stranger things (Eleven & Mike)
Winnie the Pooh & Christopher Robin (this one is good for you pregnant soon to be mommas!)
Cowboy & Cowgirl
Barbie & Ken
Operation & Surgeon (simple, yet fun!)
*If you & your other half choose one of these ideas; tag me, I’d love to see you two! ORRR if you two come up with an even better idea also tag me, I want to see and laugh too!
